A Personal Message To The President
Dear President Bong Bong Marcos,
I hope you’re doing well. My name is Roman Querubin III, and I am a student at Ilocos Sur National High School. I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts with you about our country and our future.
I know being the president weighs a lot on responsibility and I know you’re working hard for it. But anyway, at a time like this, I can’t help but have this ongoing feeling that the price of education and other basic needs seem to be getting higher, and it’s tough for many of us to keep up. I also worry about the environment and the kind of world we inherit.
This makes it seem as if our voices are not being heard, and the needs of the common man-more so the unprivileged are not always put first. It is frustrating and engulfs one with thoughts of what type of future lies ahead of us.
Yet, despite all these concerns, there is hope. I believe in my country and that, with the right choices, a better day awaits all of us. I hope that you will listen to our voices, the youths of this country, and consider our dreams and concerns as you lead.
Thank you for reading my letter. It is only that I felt like sharing what I feel today, knowing that many often feel the same way
Your sincerely,
Roman Querubin III
